- Size-T alternators are design for supplying
power to vehicles with high power requirements, particularly buses. Buses in city traffic
require high power output within a large speed range, which includes engine idle. T1
alternators for buses are particularly suitable for this application.
T1 alternators are available in swivel-arm
design with the holding arm on the left or right, and for flexible or rigid mounting.
Particularly wide rolling bearings, with a large grease supply, permit long
maintenance-free periods. Special corrosion-protection measures protect the alternators
against splash water and salt water during winter operation. |
